At Chesterfield Athletic Club, we offer both private swim lessons for skill development and a competitive swim team for young athletes looking to improve their swimming abilities, build confidence, and enjoy a fun, team-oriented environment.

CAC Sharks Swim Team
Join the CAC Sharks and experience the excitement of summer swimming!
Our Swim Team is open to both new and returning swimmers. No prior competition experience is required—just a love for the water and a willingness to learn!
Swim Team Registration
- Date: Sunday, April 13, 2025
- Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
- Location: Chesterfield Athletic Club
Returning swimmers must register by April 30, 2025, to avoid a $25 late fee.
Swim Team Practice Schedule
(Begins Monday, June 2, 2025)
- Ages 7-10: 8:00 am – 9:00 am
- Ages 11-18: 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- Ages 6 & under: 10:00 am – 10:30 am
Swim Team Requirements
- Must be a Full Club Member or have a Summer Membership.
- Must be comfortable swimming in deep water.
2025 Swim Meet Schedule
All meets begin at 5:30 pm with warm-ups at 5:00 pm.
- Monday, June 9 – CAC at Seven Pines
- Monday, June 16 – JCC at CAC
- Monday, June 23 – CAC at Old Farm
- Monday, June 30 – CCRC at CAC
- Monday, July 7 – Bridgeton at CAC
Conference Meet
Saturday, July 12 at Pattonville High School (Warm-ups: 7:00 am, Meet: 8:00 am)
End-of-Season Banquet & Pool Party
Sunday, July 13 at CAC
Swim Team Fees
Registration Fee
- $85 for the first child
- $80 for each additional child
(Charged to your CAC account at registration)
Family Fee
- $70 per family (1 child)
- $85 per family (2+ children)
(Covers ribbons, meet officials, end-of-season awards, banquet, and coach gifts; check made payable to Kimberly Daws)
Work Duty Deposit

$100 deposit per family (check held until season ends and destroyed if work duties are completed; made payable to Kimberly Daws)

Late Fee: $25 for returning swimmers registering after April 30, 2025.
Parent Volunteer Requirements
CAC’s Swim Team is parent-supported. To ensure meets run smoothly, all families must volunteer for 3 swim meet shifts and 1 team support shift.
If you do not fulfill your work requirement:
- A $100 fine will be charged.
Your child will not be allowed to participate in the next swim meet. - A second $100 check will be required for continued participation.
Volunteer roles include:
- Timers
- Ribbon writers
- Announcers
- Meet officials
Sign-up for volunteer shifts will be available during registration.
